USDT casinos in Australia and New Zealand: networks, fees and withdrawals
Tether (USDT) is a dollar-pegged token that seven of the casinos we recommend accept for deposits and withdrawals. What you pay depends almost entirely on the network you send it on. This page covers which network to pick, what exchanges and casinos charge, why deposits go missing, and how to cash out.

How to deposit with USDT
Pros and cons
Where to get USDT in Australia and New Zealand
Tether issues USDT on more than a dozen blockchains — Ethereum, Tron, Solana, BNB Smart Chain and Polygon among them — and the copies do not mix. Every exchange below sells it for local currency; check which networks it lets you withdraw on, because that has to match the casino’s list.
| Exchange (AU) | AUD deposit | Trading fee | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|---|
| CoinSpot | PayID, card, bank transfer | 0.10% on market orders | Withdrawal fee shown on the wallet page; AUD bank withdrawal free |
| Swyftx | PayID, Osko, card | 0.60% | Withdrawals on several networks; fee shown as a USDT quantity at send time |
| Independent Reserve | PayID, Osko, bank transfer | 0.50% | Documented TRC-20 deposit and withdrawal flow; also serves NZ |
| Kraken | PayID, Osko, card | 0.25% / 0.40% maker–taker | Lowest trading fee; withdrawal fee fixed per network |
| Exchange (NZ) | NZD deposit | Fee | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Easy Crypto | Bank transfer, POLi | 1.0–1.5% spread | Broker: coins go straight to a wallet; TRC-20, ERC-20 and BEP-20 supported, not all for both buys and sells |
| Independent Reserve | Bank transfer | 0.50% | Real order book, NZD accounts, FSPR-registered |
PayID and Osko deposits are free at all four Australian exchanges. Card purchases and card-to-wallet services such as MoonPay and Transak cost 1–5% more. The USDT deposit guide walks through the exchange sign-up in detail.
Setting it up
Buy the deposit amount plus two or three dollars for the exchange withdrawal fee. In the casino cashier, choose USDT and read the network list before anything else: the casino generates a separate address per network, and the format tells you which (Tron addresses begin with T; Ethereum, BNB Chain and Polygon addresses all begin with 0x, which is exactly why they get confused). Copy the address into the exchange’s Send screen, choose the same network by name, and approve. Independent Reserve’s own guide says to test first; a A$20 first deposit does that cheaply.
Which network to send on
| Network | Network cost per transfer | Confirmation | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| TRC-20 (Tron) | ~65,000 energy: about 6.4 TRX burnt if the receiving address already holds USDT, roughly double if it does not; nil if the sender has staked TRX | ~3 seconds | Cheapest of the big three since Tron cut its energy price from 210 to 100 sun on 29 August 2025 |
| ERC-20 (Ethereum) | US$2–10 depending on congestion | ~12 s block, ~13 min finality | Listed most widely; worst value for a A$50 deposit |
| BEP-20 (BNB Smart Chain) | ~US$0.10 | ~3 seconds | Cheap, but 0x addresses are shared with Ethereum, so network selection is the whole safeguard |
| Polygon / Solana / Arbitrum | Under US$0.10 | 1–3 seconds | Only some cashiers and exchanges offer them |
All seven recommended casinos take USDT, but none publishes its network list outside the logged-in cashier, so we cannot say which offer TRC-20 — look at the dropdown before you buy. Tron’s quirk: a TRC-20 transfer consumes energy and bandwidth, and an account with neither pays by burning TRX. Every account gets 600 bandwidth a day free, covering the 350 a transfer needs, but energy must be staked, rented or burnt for. An exchange’s wallet pays its own; from a personal wallet you need a few TRX or the transfer fails.
Fees, limits and timing
What the casino charges. None of the seven publishes a USDT deposit or withdrawal fee. Minimum deposits are A$20 (Golden Crown, Richard Casino), A$25 (RocketPlay), €20 equivalent (Spin Samurai), A$30 (Neospin, Need for Spin) and €5 (Bizzo). Withdrawal minimums are A$20–30 at most, €50 for crypto at Need for Spin and A$300 at Neospin.
What the exchange charges. Withdrawal fees are set per network and shown before you confirm. A first-quarter 2026 survey of exchange fee pages by Eco put TRC-20 withdrawals at 1 USDT on Binance, 2.40 USDT on Coinbase and 2.50 USDT on Kraken; Coinbase also states a 0.01% USDT processing fee, capped at 20 USDT, on top of the network fee. CoinSpot and Swyftx display theirs on the wallet or send screen rather than a fixed list.
Timing. Deposits credit after one confirmation: seconds on Tron, around 13 minutes on Ethereum. Withdrawals wait on the casino’s approval queue — 24–48 hours of verification at Golden Crown, 24–72 hours at Need for Spin, up to 48 hours pending at Neospin, up to 24 hours at RocketPlay — after which the on-chain leg is “instant” to 24 hours. Because USDT is pegged, there is no price to watch while the queue clears.
When it fails
Wrong network. The number one loss. USDT sent on BNB Chain to an Ethereum address, or on Ethereum to a Tron one, is not credited and the casino cannot see it. Easy Crypto’s help page states that a wrong-network send “can result in permanent loss” and that recovery, where attempted at all, costs NZ$100–1,000. Before approving, compare the network name on the exchange screen with the cashier’s, character for character.
A network the casino does not credit. If the cashier lists ERC-20 and TRC-20 only and you sent Polygon USDT, the coins sit at an address the casino may not monitor. Send support the transaction hash at once; some operators can sweep it, none promise to.
Not enough TRX. From a personal Tron wallet, a transfer with no energy and no TRX balance simply fails. Top up 10–15 TRX and retry; exchange withdrawals never hit this.
Deposit credited late. Find the transaction on tronscan.org or etherscan.io. If it shows confirmed and the casino balance is unchanged after 30 minutes, give support the hash; the casino’s side is the only place left for it to be stuck.
Withdrawing
Request USDT in the cashier, paste the deposit address your exchange gives you for the same network, and wait for approval. Whether a casino asks for ID first varies: RocketPlay says crypto players need no verification before a first withdrawal, Golden Crown, Bizzo and Neospin verify before paying, and Spin Samurai, Need for Spin and Richard Casino quote approval within 72 hours. What matters is that, once approved, the coins arrive in minutes, and the casino review says how long approval took.
Back on the exchange, sell USDT for AUD or NZD (the same trading fee as buying) and withdraw to your bank (free at CoinSpot). Keep the records: the ATO lists “trade, exchange or swap a crypto asset for another crypto asset” and selling for money among the transactions that trigger a CGT event, so converting USDT back to dollars is a disposal to report even when the gain or loss is a few cents. Inland Revenue takes the same line for New Zealanders — cryptoassets acquired for the purpose of disposing of them are taxable on any profit, and its April 2026 reminder says it is matching cryptoasset data against returns.
