Ether is on every recommended cashier and the network has been almost free to use through 2026, which removes the objection most people had to it. What it has not shed is the price risk: a A$100 deposit can be A$90 or A$110 by the time a withdrawal clears, and the dollar-denominated maximum-bet rules in bonus terms — A$7.50 at RocketPlay, A$10 at Neospin, A$6.50 at National Casino — apply to the converted value of an ETH stake. If that bothers you, the same address on the same chain takes ERC-20 USDT, and Tron takes it cheaper.
The casino-side terms are the same for ETH as for any coin here: no fee on deposit or withdrawal, deposits wagered once before withdrawal at RocketPlay, Richard Casino and Just Casino, three times at Spin Samurai, a 10% charge at Need for Spin on a deposit sent back unplayed. Documents before the first payout are a casino policy, not an ETH one, and the no-KYC page sets out who asks for what.
A plain ETH transfer uses 21,000 gas units priced in gwei. On 6 September 2026 Etherscan’s tracker showed an average of 0.046 gwei and priced a standard transfer at roughly US$0.002, confirming in about 30 seconds. The same transfer at 30 gwei costs about US$1.60 and at 100 gwei about US$5.30, which is the range to budget for in a busy period; the wallet shows the estimate before you confirm. The ERC-20 USDT figure of US$2–10 on the USDT page is higher because a token transfer uses more gas than a plain send.
With gas near zero, the exchange’s withdrawal fee is the cost that matters. Independent Reserve charges a fixed 0.003 ETH on Ethereum mainnet (about US$7.50 at the early-September price of US$2,511) and 0.0004 ETH on Base or Arbitrum One; CoinSpot, Swyftx, Kraken and Coinbase show a floating fee on the send form. That fixed charge swamps the gas on a small deposit, and sending to your own wallet first does not avoid it. Trading fees are the usual 0.10–0.60% in Australia and a 1.0–1.5% spread at Easy Crypto in New Zealand; Kraken and Coinbase do not take NZD. The Ethereum payment page has the full exchange tables.
From your own wallet — MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Exodus or Ledger — the gas comes out of the balance you are sending, so a wallet holding exactly A$50 of ETH cannot send A$50. Use the “max” button, which subtracts the estimated fee.
Every casino we review takes ETH on Ethereum mainnet, and that is the only network you should assume works. Some cashiers show layer-2 or BSC entries; we could not verify which of ours do, so check the label in the cashier before choosing anything else at the exchange. ETH sent on Arbitrum or BSC to an address the casino only watches on mainnet does not show up, and recovery is slow or refused.
The trap is that Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Base and Arbitrum all use the same 42-character 0x address format, so nothing about the address tells you which chain the casino is watching. The network name on the exchange’s send screen is the whole safeguard; compare it with the cashier’s, then compare the first and last four characters of the pasted address. Ethereum addresses carry a mixed-case checksum, so a wallet that respects it refuses a mistyped one, but it cannot refuse a correct address on the wrong chain. Two other losses that cannot be undone: pasting a token contract address (Etherscan marks those “Contract”) instead of the casino’s deposit address, and sending to a casino’s USDT address when you meant ETH.
Because ERC-20 Tether lives on Ethereum, an ETH player and a USDT player on the same casino are often using the same rail with the same gas. Where a cashier’s USDT list is ERC-20 only, holding ETH and sending it directly saves the swap and the token’s higher gas; where the cashier lists TRC-20, USDT on Tron costs about 6.4 TRX and confirms in three seconds, which beats both. None of the eleven casinos publishes its USDT network list outside the logged-in cashier, so the decision is made at the deposit screen: open it, choose USDT, and see whether Tron is offered. If it is, the case for ETH is that you already hold it.
At the nine SoftSwiss-built casinos — RocketPlay, Spin Samurai, Richard Casino, Just Casino, Golden Crown, Neospin, Need for Spin, Bizzo and National Casino — ETH is a deposit and withdrawal option, so you are paid in the coin you sent. Fair Go and Ripper list ETH for deposits from A$10–25 but only Bitcoin among crypto withdrawals, with a A$100 minimum, so an ETH deposit there comes back as BTC. Ethereum produces a block every 12 seconds. The CoinsPaid processor behind many cashiers credits ETH after 2 confirmations, or 10 for larger amounts; other processors differ and the cashier rarely says, so allow a few minutes and send support the hash if nothing shows after fifteen. Withdrawals run approval first — up to 24 hours at RocketPlay, 24–48 at Golden Crown, 0–48 at Neospin, 24–72 at Need for Spin — then the send, stated as instant at RocketPlay, Richard Casino and Golden Crown, about 45 minutes at Neospin, within an hour at Just Casino, 0–24 hours at Need for Spin and within 72 hours at Spin Samurai. Golden Crown, Need for Spin and Spin Samurai do not process at weekends.
