Best Litecoin casinos in Australia

Every casino on this list takes Litecoin on its own cashier, and nine of the eleven pay withdrawals in it. Litecoin does the same job as Bitcoin at a casino for a fraction of the fee and a quarter of the wait, which is the whole case for it. The ranking above is our standard one — stated payout terms, a licence we could find on a register, the complaint record — and the notes below cover what LTC costs to move, how long a deposit takes to credit, which wallet to hold it in now that Litewallet has closed, and the two address mistakes that lose coins.

The case for Litecoin at a casino

Litecoin is a 2011 fork of Bitcoin’s code with two numbers changed: a block every 2.5 minutes instead of 10, and 84 million coins instead of 21 million. For a casino player that translates into a deposit that confirms four times faster and a network fee the Litecoin learning centre puts at under a cent. It is on every recommended cashier, no casino here charges a fee on it, and at nine of the eleven it is a withdrawal option as well as a deposit one.

What it does not do is fix the price. An LTC balance moves between deposit and withdrawal just as a Bitcoin one does, and the dollar-denominated maximum-bet rules in bonus terms — A$7.50 at RocketPlay, A$10 at Neospin, A$6.50 at National Casino — apply to the converted value of your stake. If you want the cheap rail without the moving balance, USDT on Tron is the alternative on the same cashiers.

The cheapest on-chain option, in numbers

Three fees, and two of them round to nothing. The casino’s side is nil at all eleven; the conditions are the same as for any coin — deposits wagered once before withdrawal at RocketPlay, Richard Casino and Just Casino, three times at Spin Samurai, and a 10% charge at Need for Spin on a deposit sent back unplayed. The network’s side is under a cent. The exchange’s side is the trading fee — 0.10% at CoinSpot market orders, 0.25–0.40% at Kraken, 0.50% at Independent Reserve, 0.60% at Swyftx, a quoted price at Easy Crypto in New Zealand — plus a flat send fee that Independent Reserve sets at 0.001 LTC, a few cents at current prices; CoinSpot, Swyftx and Coinbase show theirs at withdrawal.

Set that against Bitcoin, where the exchange send fee alone is 0.000015–0.0001 BTC (about A$2–11) and the network has spiked to A$185 for a simple transfer, or Ethereum, where a fixed 0.003 ETH exchange fee swamps a small deposit. A A$50 Litecoin deposit from Independent Reserve costs about A$0.25 in trading fee and a few cents to send. The Litecoin payment page has every exchange’s figures; PayID deposits are free at all the Australian ones, and Easy Crypto and Independent Reserve serve NZD.

Confirmations and timing

A Litecoin block arrives every 2.5 minutes. Casinos do not publish how many they wait for, but CoinsPaid, one of the largest processors behind casino cashiers, publishes 2 confirmations for LTC and 6 for larger transactions, with a 0.01 LTC minimum — 5 to 15 minutes, against 10–30 minutes for the one to three confirmations typical on Bitcoin. Exchanges wait longer on the way back before you can sell; Kraken, for one, credits Bitcoin only after four confirmations, and the Litecoin figure is on the exchange’s deposit page.

Withdrawals are the casino’s clock, not the chain’s. Approval takes up to 24 hours at RocketPlay, 0–48 at Neospin, 24–72 at Need for Spin, within 72 hours at Spin Samurai and two business days at Fair Go and Ripper; then the send is stated as instant at RocketPlay, Richard Casino and Golden Crown, about 45 minutes at Neospin, within an hour at Just Casino and 0–24 hours at Need for Spin. Bizzo publishes no crypto figure. Caps belong to the casino: A$800 a day at Need for Spin, A$1,500 a day at Spin Samurai, A$2,000 a week at Ripper, A$9,000 a week at RocketPlay, A$15,000 a day at Golden Crown, and a big win is paid in instalments like any other.

Which casinos take LTC, and in which direction

At the nine SoftSwiss-built casinos — RocketPlay, Spin Samurai, Richard Casino, Just Casino, Golden Crown, Neospin, Need for Spin, Bizzo and National Casino — Litecoin is on both the deposit and withdrawal lists. Deposit minimums are €5 at Bizzo, A$20 at Richard Casino, €20 equivalent at Spin Samurai and Golden Crown, A$25 at RocketPlay and A$30 at Neospin, Need for Spin, Just Casino and National Casino, or the NZ$ equivalent. On the way out, Richard Casino pays from A$20, Spin Samurai and Golden Crown from €20, RocketPlay from A$30 and Need for Spin from €50.

Fair Go and Ripper list Litecoin for deposits from A$10–25, but both list only Bitcoin among crypto withdrawal methods, from A$100 per transfer, so an LTC deposit there is paid back as BTC. Of the casinos we do not recommend, Ozwin, Royal Reels and ThePokies.net take Bitcoin but not Litecoin; SkyCrown, Ignition, Joe Fortune, WinSpirit, Casino Mate, Stellar Spins and Wild Card City list it, and the reasons they are off the toplist are in their reviews.

Wallets: Litewallet is gone, Nexus replaced it

You can deposit straight from the exchange, but a withdrawal needs an address you control, so a wallet is worth having. The Litecoin Foundation sunset its Litewallet app on 31 December 2025 and replaced it with Nexus Wallet (iOS and Android, released June 2025); if you still have Litewallet installed, move the coins. Nexus carries a “Private Litecoin” switch that turns on MWEB — leave it off for anything involving an exchange or casino, for the reason below. Exodus and Trust Wallet hold LTC alongside BTC, ETH and USDT in one app, and a Ledger hardware wallet suits the winnings you are not about to gamble. The wallets guide compares them.

One quirk affects withdrawals. Litecoin addresses come in three shapes — legacy L, SegWit-in-P2SH M (older software used 3), and native SegWit ltc1 — and some casino cashiers and exchange forms still refuse the newest. Trust Wallet issues ltc1 addresses only. If a cashier rejects your withdrawal address, use an L or M address (Exodus on desktop can show more than one type) or route the payout to your exchange’s LTC deposit address and sell from there.

Two ways to lose the coins

A Bitcoin “3” address. A Litecoin send form refuses a “1…” or “bc1…” address but accepts a Bitcoin “3…” one, because early Litecoin used the same prefix. If that address is a casino’s BTC deposit address, the coins land on the Litecoin chain under keys the casino does not use, and they are usually gone. Copy the address from the Litecoin tab of the cashier, not the Bitcoin tab.

MWEB or “private” sends. MWEB hides amounts and addresses, and MWEB addresses start with ltc1mweb. Binance’s notice says MWEB deposits “will not be received or returned … resulting in the direct loss of funds”; assume every other exchange and cashier behaves the same. Never give an ltc1mweb address as a withdrawal destination.

Whether documents are asked for before a payout is a policy of the casino, not the coin — RocketPlay’s FAQ says crypto players need none before withdrawing; Bizzo, Golden Crown, Need for Spin and Neospin verify first — and every policy is set out on the no-KYC page.

Frequently asked questions

Which online casinos accept Litecoin in Australia?
All eleven casinos we recommend list LTC: RocketPlay, Spin Samurai, Richard Casino, Just Casino, Bizzo, National Casino, Golden Crown, Neospin, Need for Spin, Fair Go and Ripper. The first nine pay withdrawals in Litecoin; Fair Go and Ripper take it for deposits but pay crypto withdrawals in Bitcoin only. Among the casinos we do not recommend, Ozwin, Royal Reels and ThePokies.net take Bitcoin but not Litecoin. New Zealand accounts see the same cashiers.
Why use Litecoin instead of Bitcoin at a casino?
Cost and speed. The network fee is under a cent against under a dollar on Bitcoin in a normal week and A$185 on Bitcoin's worst day of 2024, and blocks arrive every 2.5 minutes instead of 10, so a deposit credits in 5–15 minutes rather than 10–30. The exchange's send fee is smaller too — 0.001 LTC at Independent Reserve, a few cents, against 0.000015–0.0001 BTC. What Litecoin does not remove is price movement between deposit and withdrawal; USDT does that.
How many confirmations does a Litecoin casino deposit need?
Casinos do not publish the number. CoinsPaid, one of the largest processors behind casino cashiers, credits LTC after 2 confirmations and holds larger amounts for 6, which at 2.5 minutes a block is 5 to 15 minutes. If the cashier still says pending after 30 minutes, find the transaction on a block explorer via the exchange's withdrawal history and give support the transaction ID.
How fast is a Litecoin casino withdrawal?
Approval first: up to 24 hours at RocketPlay, 0–48 at Neospin, 24–72 at Need for Spin, within 72 hours at Spin Samurai, two business days at Fair Go and Ripper. Then the send, which RocketPlay, Richard Casino and Golden Crown state as instant, Neospin about 45 minutes, Just Casino within an hour, Need for Spin 0–24 hours. Golden Crown, Need for Spin and Spin Samurai do not process at weekends. Once sent, the coins are spendable at your exchange within a few blocks.
Which wallet should I use for Litecoin?
Nexus Wallet, the Litecoin Foundation's own app for iOS and Android, replaced Litewallet, which the Foundation sunset on 31 December 2025 — move any coins still in Litewallet. Exodus and Trust Wallet hold LTC alongside the other coins our casinos take, and a Ledger suits winnings you are keeping. Whatever you use, leave Nexus's 'Private Litecoin' (MWEB) switch off for anything going to an exchange or casino.
