Wild Card City review 2026
Wild Card City — the JokaRoom successor that Australians still search for — rebranded to Joka Casino in October 2024 and its domain now redirects there. It never published a licence, ACMA blocked it in 2021, and the current operator is undisclosed. Not recommended.
Our verdict
People still search for Wild Card City more than a year after it stopped existing under that name, which is why this page exists. The short version: Wild Card City was the 2020 successor to JokaRoom, an Australian-facing casino that closed abruptly; in October 2024 it became Joka Casino; wildcardcity.com now redirects there. Through all three names the operation has never published a licence number or an operating company, ACMA blocked the domain in February 2021, and Trustpilot has removed every profile associated with it.
Casino Guru gives the current Joka Casino incarnation a surprisingly high 8.1, on the basis that the value of withheld winnings in its complaint file is small relative to the casino's estimated revenue — while stating in the same review that it holds no licence from any regulator and its owner is undisclosed. We weigh those two facts differently. A casino that has changed its name twice, never named itself, and cannot be inspected from outside Australia is not somewhere we send readers.
What the offer looked like
The Wild Card City welcome package was A$5,000 and 75 free spins over three deposits — 100% up to A$2,000 with 25 spins, 100% up to A$1,000 with 25 spins, 100% up to A$2,000 with 25 spins — at 50x wagering (one source says 40x) with a A$20 minimum, 30 days to clear, and a A$5,000 maximum win. Free spins were on iSoftBet’s Wolf Treasure. A daily promo calendar ran from mystery Monday bonuses to a 50% Thursday reload up to A$500, plus a “Joka Dimes” points scheme and an invitation-only VIP Room with 40x wagering, no maximum bet and weekly cashback of unstated size. Joka Casino appears to have kept the structure.
Banking
Deposits by Visa, Mastercard, Neosurf, POLi, Flexepin, Instadebit, iDebit, ecoPayz and — via Coindirect — Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Tether. Withdrawals by bank transfer or crypto, A$20 minimum (A$50 for bank), after a 24-hour pending period; crypto in about a day, bank in three to five, capped at A$10,000 a week. KYC before the first withdrawal, quoted at 1–48 hours. Neither PayID nor Apple Pay was ever mentioned by any source.
Pokies and games
A respectable lobby: Evolution and Ezugi live tables (120–175 depending on the count), and pokies from Booongo, Wazdan, Playson, Platipus, BGaming, Habanero, Quickspin, Yggdrasil, Big Time Gaming, iSoftBet, Betsoft, Spinomenal and Greentube among roughly 2,000 titles. No source lists Aristocrat-style clones by name.
Licence and safety
This is the whole story. No licence, no company, no address. ACMA’s February 2021 block list named Wild Card City alongside Joka VIP Room. Casino Guru’s Wild Card City page now redirects to Joka Casino; its file shows 11 complaints, none resolved, ten rejected, one unresolved, and flags confiscation clauses in the terms. LCB members give it 2.8 out of 5, with one report of a A$7,000-plus withdrawal frozen without communication. The Casino Guru forum documents the JokaRoom closure and the pattern of the brand “closing and reopening”.
The casinos on our recommended list carry the same Booongo and Evolution content with a licence you can look up.
Support
Live chat was 24/7 and rated good by Casino Guru; email addresses used the WildCardCity.com domain and now connect@jokacasino.com; an Australian toll-free number, 1-800-173-035, was listed. Whether any of these still answer for Wild Card City accounts is an open question.
Official site and login
There is no Wild Card City login any more. wildcardcity.com now redirects every path to jokacasino.com/access-denied — an empty page served by Joka Casino, the brand’s name since October 2024 — and ACMA blocked the original domain in February 2021. Whether Australian visitors still see a Wild Card City site we could not observe. The domains ranking for “Wild Card City login” — wildcardcity-au.com, wildcardcity77.com, wildcard-city.org and jokacasino.bet — are affiliate marketing pages posing as official, not the casino. If you hold an old account, use the wildcardcity.com redirect or a link you trust, not a search result. Sister sites: Joka Casino is the same operation renamed, JokaRoom its predecessor; LCB’s Casino Mate and House of Jack claims are unverified.
