Leah Morrison
Twelve years in bank fraud and disputes teams in Adelaide. Tests every deposit and withdrawal method we list — PayID, bank transfer, Neosurf, cards, Apple Pay — and documents which ones actually work from an Australian account and what the bank sees on the statement.
Leah worked in the fraud and disputes teams of two Australian banks for twelve years, which means she has seen the other end of a lot of casino transactions: the declined card, the chargeback, the account frozen after a large offshore payment. She joined TeleVega to explain that side to players before they run into it.
She owns the payment pages — PayID, bank transfer, Visa and Mastercard, Neosurf, Apple Pay and the rest — and the banking table in every review. Her rule is that a method is listed only after it has been tried from an ordinary Australian bank account, with the merchant descriptor, any fees and the time to arrival recorded. She is the reason several reviews say “PayID is in the FAQ but not in the cashier”.
Leah also writes the guides on what happens when a casino asks for documents, and on how to keep gambling transactions from causing problems with a mortgage application.
Writing for TeleVega since 2024.
