Daniel spent eight years as a croupier in Perth, dealing blackjack, baccarat and roulette and, later, supervising a pit. He left the industry in 2023 and started writing about it. He knows what a properly run table looks like — the shuffle procedure, the way a dealer handles a disputed bet, the pace — and he grades live-dealer studios against that standard rather than against their marketing.

His sections of each review cover the live lobby: which studios are present (Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live, Ezugi), the minimum and maximum table limits in AUD or NZD, stream latency, and the house edge of the side bets that casinos push hardest.
